About this course
This is the full SQL foundations batch, recorded live and arranged in the order it was taught. Each lesson is one class: a single topic, explained from scratch and practised on screen.
You start with what a database is and the data types it stores, then build up through operators, filtering, sorting and limiting results. From there you change data and structure with DML and DDL, work through the built-in text, maths, date and conversion functions, and learn to summarise data with group functions and GROUP BY.
The last classes cover constraints, then joins, set operators and subqueries — the point where SQL stops being about one table and starts answering real questions.
